The battery is a 48v 12ah LITHIUM battery, therefore it does far more miles than the standard 36v version, up to 50 KM per charge depending on weight and terrain (A MASSIVE 25% MORE POWER OUTPUT). We designed our bikes so that the battery is protected under the seat and NOT under the feet where the elements can cause excessive damage, we have also learned that the battery under the seat creates a safer counter balance.
